n the first place we would like to welcome you to our website 'Rod & Rena's Baby Book'. These pages are about our experiences during Rena's pregnancy; the developments in her tummy and everything else that we may encounter up until the moment of birth..
It is the intention to develop the stories in 3 languages (Dutch, English, Indonesian) because our relatives are spread around the world. Furthermore we will display pictures and also maintain a weblog, as well as a forum, so that everybody can join in an take part. On the left you will find a navigation bar where you will be able to find the items to guide you through the whole happening.
At the moment, 30th November, not much is working yet, but within a few days it will have been updated so (the links now work as of 3rd December, data still to be entered) you can go everywhere you need to and hopefully we will find enough time to keep you up to date!
Echo of Rena's pregnancy on 30-Nov-2006
Today, the 30th November 2006, we heard from the doctor in the Lucas Andreas Hospital in Geuzenveld, Amsterdam, that Rena is pregnant. According to the doctor, Dr. van der Laar, Rena will give birth on 18th July 2007.
Above is the echo that was made today. You can see the little being between the yellow + signs. The embryo is now 6 weeks and 6 days old and it is 7mm long.
During the echo scan we could already see junior's heart beating! Next time we will have to come back for further check up on 21st December. Rena feels reasonably well, is occasionally a little tired and quickly feels cold, but I guess it must be the season.
