11 Weeks into pregnancy!
Almost New Year 2007! The yeat that our little one shall be born.

10 Weeks into pregnancy!

Last Friday, 22nd December, we arrived at week 10 and here is Rena!

New Echo scan
Today, Wednesday 21st December, Rena is still feeling miserable. The coughsirup did not help much. Already two nights did she hardly sleep. Last night she could only sleep on the couch at 4 a.m. Only at 5:30 did she go to bed. Unfortunately I had to wake her up again already at 7:00 a.m., because we had an appointment at Dr. van de Laar, at the St. Lucas Andreas hospital, at 8:45. She had to make a new echo scan.

Sickness, throat ache and coughing
Yesterday, Monday 17th December, Rena did not feel well. All of last week she felt stings and pains in her stomach and sickness. When she stands up a long time her feet ache and she feels sick. Our Persian cat, Maya, on 28th October delivered 6 kittens,
photos here, but Rena is not allowed to come near the litterbin due to her pregnancy. However, Rena already feels sick when she sees a little dirt or smells something.

Saturday 16th Dec. Kembang Sepatu
Last Saturday night, 16th December, we went out. We were fetched by Monique and her friend. Monique is a friend whom we have known for quite a long time. We went to the Chrismas event for people with roots in Indonesia, organized by the club Kembang Sepatu.

Our Obstetrician
Last Wednesday, 13th December, we went and registered at the obstetrician's.
We registered at
Het Geboortecentrum Amsterdam. This center for birth was founded by
Beatrijs Smulders.
Beatrijs is known all over the world as an ostetrician and has written numerous books on the subject.

9 Weeks pregnant!
Yesterday we arrived at week nine and here is Rena!

The baby is now larger than approx. 2,5 centimeters tall and weighs in at 4 grams and its fingers and toes can already be distinguished. You can read more about
